Data protection

At Apritec, protecting your privacy is important to us. For this reason, we take appropriate measures, which are explained below.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

The legal basis for the collection, storage and processing of personal data can be found in particular in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Telemedia Act (TMG) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Personal data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (Article 4 No. 1 GDPR). This includes, in particular, names, address details, telephone numbers, or email addresses. However, information about preferences, memberships, or previously visited websites can also constitute personal data.

Contact us

If you contact us (e.g., by email or via our contact form), the data you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis for this processing is the necessity to implement pre-contractual measures pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We delete the data collected in this context once storage is no longer required, or restrict processing if statutory retention periods apply.

• Right to information,
• Right to rectification or erasure,
• Right to restriction of processing,
• Right to object to processing,
• Right to data portability.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

Disclosure to third parties

We will transfer your personal data to third parties if this is necessary to execute contracts or process payments. The legal basis for this transfer is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Personal data will not be transferred to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes without your express consent.

Newsletterdaten

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you consent to receiving the newsletter. To ensure that you consent to receiving the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in process. This process allows the potential recipient to be added to a mailing list. The user then receives a confirmation email giving them the opportunity to legally confirm their registration. Only upon confirmation will the address be actively added to the mailing list.

We use this data exclusively to send you the requested information and offers.

Rapidmail is used as the newsletter software. Your data will be transmitted to rapidmail GmbH. Rapidmail is prohibited from selling your data or using it for purposes other than sending newsletters. Newsletter2Go is a German, certified provider selected according to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act.

Further information can be found here: https://www.rapidmail.de/

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your data, your email address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.

Data protection measures are always subject to technical innovations. For this reason, we ask you to inform yourself about our data protection measures at regular intervals by reading our data protection declaration.

Server-Log-Files

Each time a user visits our website, information is stored in a log file by our hosting provider. These so-called log files contain information about accessed files, status codes, timestamps, and system information. This data is not personal and cannot be traced back to a specific individual.

IP addresses are also stored in log files. We cannot easily assign these to a specific person. Furthermore, these IP addresses are stored in the log files only in an anonymized form and used exclusively for statistical purposes.

If you wish to view our website, we collect the aforementioned data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and ensure stability and security. The legal basis for this processing is the necessity to protect our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

They serve to increase the user-friendliness, effectiveness, and security of our website. Cookies can also be used to collect statistical data on website usage and analyze it to improve our service. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the controller of this website is located outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Analytics data processing is carried out by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited are hereinafter referred to as "Google."

Google Analytics uses "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your shortened IP address) is typically transferred to a Google server and stored there.

Google Analytics is used exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIp()" on this website. This extension ensures that the IP address is anonymized by shortening it, thus preventing it from being directly linked to a person. This extension shortens the IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the corresponding browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

On behalf of the website operator, Google will use the information collected to evaluate website usage, compile reports on website activity, and provide the website operator with other services related to website and internet usage (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The legitimate interest in data processing lies in optimizing this website, analyzing website usage, and adapting its content. Users' interests are adequately protected through pseudonymization.

Google LLC offers a guarantee based on the standard contractual clauses to maintain an appropriate level of data protection. The data sent and linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g., user ID), or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 50 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.

Visitors can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by adjusting their cookie settings for this website. Furthermore, they can opt out of the collection and storage of their IP address and the data generated by cookies at any time with future effect. ReCaptcha

To protect your inquiries via online form, we use the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google LLC (Google). This query is used to distinguish whether the input was made by a human or was misused by automated, machine processing. The query includes sending the IP address and, if applicable, other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. For this purpose, your input will be transmitted to Google and used there. However, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA will not be merged with other Google data. The different privacy policy of Google applies to this data.
